Pet Au Perr

sustained well-being home delivered.

Private, personal, and practical pet care in Dallas.

Hello, I’m Darrian, Founder and sole operator of Pet Au Perr.

My approach to pet care is defined by a calm, mindful perspective—honed by a degree in Psychology and a lifetime of dedicated care giving. I recognize that inviting someone into your home requires a profound level of trust, and I acknowledge such emotional weight and responsibility with the utmost respect. Long before founding Pet Au Perr, my path was shaped by a deep-seated commitment to others. From early childhood education to the nuanced demands of primary care giving for my own family, I have learned that true attentiveness is a quiet, steady practice.

With Pet Au Perr, I offer a specialized standard of care rooted in…

Scientific Rigor: Continuous education in animal behavior and temperament.

Absolute Discretion: A firm regard for the privacy of your home and the sanctity of your routine.

Collaborative Excellence: Prioritizing your control and unique insights as a pet owner to lead the way for more than satisfactory services for all.

Caring for your companion is not a service alone to me; it is a sincere commitment to a lifestyle of health and fulfillment. My long-term vision is to translate this dedication into support for the shelters and organizations that serve the communities of Dallas and North Texas.

The Collaborative Process

1. Inquiry & Availability Check

Begin with an inquiry outlining your pet, home, and requested dates. Availability is reviewed promptly, and with alignment confirmed, a time for acquaintance is arranged.

2. Acquaintance Meeting

An in-home meeting takes place to review routines, expectations, chemistry with pets and overall fit. This is required to ensure that care can be delivered with consistency, safety, and respect for your household.

3. Confirmation & Client Registry

Once confirmed as a mutual fit, services are formally reserved. A client registry form is provided to collect all essential details regarding your pet’s care, home access, routines, and emergency contacts.

4. Pet Perr Delivery

Services are carried out with close attention to routine, environment, and detail. Updates and summaries are shared at your preferred frequency—measured, informative, and unobtrusive.

5. Completion & Payment

At the conclusion of services, a final summary is provided. Payment is due upon completion unless arranged otherwise in advance.

Core Services

All services listed below are performed by an insured and certified pet care provider, with an emphasis on consistency, discretion, and detail.

In-Home Pet Sitting

Care provided within your home for pets who benefit from consistency and minimal disruption. Visits or overnight presence are scheduled in advance based on your selected care plan. Service includes feeding, fresh water, routine walks or litter care, companionship, and general home upkeep related to pet areas.

This service does not include 24-hour constant care unless explicitly arranged. Time away from the home will occur for other scheduled visits. Exact arrival windows are confirmed prior to service.

Drop-In Visits

Scheduled visits to your home for essential care and brief engagement. Each visit includes feeding, water refresh, bathroom break or litter maintenance, and light interaction.

Visits are time-based, following a scheduled window. This service is not intended for pets requiring extended supervision, high exercise needs, or continuous companionship.

Private Dog Walking

One-on-one walks tailored to your dog’s pace, behavior, and environment. No group walks are conducted. Routes are selected to prioritize safety and reduce over-stimulation.

Walk duration reflects active walking time and does not include feeding or extended in-home care unless added separately. Dogs must be leash-trained and safe to handle in a public setting.

Wellness & Routine Care

Support for pets requiring structured care beyond standard visits. This includes medication administration, supplements, and reinforcement of established routines.

All instructions must be provided in writing prior to service. This service does not replace veterinary care or include medical decision-making.

Extended Stay Care

Ongoing in-home care for longer absences, maintaining household and pet routines over multiple days or weeks. Includes all standard care, plus light home presence (mail collection, plant care, basic upkeep).

*This is not a constant care service unless specifically contracted. Scheduling, frequency of visits, and overnight presence are defined in advance.

Specialty Services

Recovery & Comfort Care

Short-term, in-home support for pets recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. Focus is placed on maintaining comfort, monitoring condition, and adhering strictly to care instructions.

Clients must provide clear veterinary guidance and emergency contacts. This service does not include medical treatment, wound care beyond basic observation, or emergency intervention.

Senior Pet Care

Adjusted care for aging pets requiring a slower pace, mobility support, or increased routine sensitivity. Visits are structured to minimize stress and maintain familiarity.

This service does not include lifting pets beyond safe handling limits or managing advanced medical conditions without prior agreement.

Behavior-Conscious Care

Care tailored for pets with anxiety, reactivity, or sensitivity to environmental triggers. Emphasis is placed on calm handling, predictable routines, and minimizing stress exposure.

This is not a training service and does not include behavior modification. Aggressive or unsafe behavior must be disclosed prior to booking.

Observational Care Reports

Structured updates focused on meaningful changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, and routine adherence. Designed to provide useful insight rather than constant communication.

Update frequency is agreed upon in advance. This is not a real-time monitoring or on-demand update service.

Relocation Transition Care (In-Home)

Short-term or extended in-home care provided while you are in the process of relocating, allowing your pet to remain in a familiar environment rather than transitioning immediately.

Care is structured around maintaining established routines—feeding, exercise, and daily rhythms—while your move is underway. This service is particularly suited for situations where timing, travel, or logistics make immediate relocation impractical.

Scheduling is arranged in advance with defined visit frequency or overnight presence. This is not a continuous 24-hour care service unless specifically requested. Home access, utilities, and a clear transition plan must be maintained throughout the service period.

The goal is simple: to provide continuity and stability for your pet until they are ready to join you in their new environment.

Inquire

Care begins with a brief introduction. Share a few details about your pet, your home, and the dates you have in mind so availability can be thoughtfully reviewed.

Services are intentionally reserved for a limited number of households at a time to ensure consistency, flexibility, and a high standard of care. As a result, availability—particularly for recurring clients and extended stays—may be selective.

If aligned, a consultation will be arranged to confirm fit and discuss care in greater detail. All inquiries are responded to promptly. Providing thorough information at the outset allows for a more seamless and tailored experience.
